Network storage you can build and own
A compact network-attached storage unit built around a Raspberry Pi 5. Designed for home labs, studios and small offices that need reliable file shares, Time Machine / SMB backups and local media storage without a bulky rack NAS.
The kit ships as an assembled chassis with dual 2.5″ / 3.5″ SATA bays on a powered USB3 / SATA bridge, active cooling, and a pre-flashed microSD image running a hardened Debian-based NAS stack (Samba, NFS, optional WireGuard). You bring the drives; we bring the board, power, case and software baseline.
Typical use: shared project folders for a design team, overnight laptop backups, and a quiet Plex / Jellyfin library on the same box. Idle draw stays under ~12 W with two spinning disks.

What’s in the box: Raspberry Pi 5 (8 GB), official 27 W USB-C PSU, aluminium case with fan, dual-bay SATA enclosure board, 32 GB industrial microSD with DEIENAMI NAS image, Ethernet cable, and a printed quick-start card.
Software image: Debian Bookworm base, Samba 4 shares with user ACLs, NFS exports for Linux workstations, fail2ban on SSH, unattended-security updates, and a simple web status page on port 8080 showing disk health and free space. Optional one-line enable for WireGuard and Jellyfin.
Drives: Supports two 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA HDDs/SSDs. We recommend WD Red / Seagate IronWolf class disks for 24/7 use. RAID is not hardware-mirrored — use mdadm or keep an offline backup. Maximum tested capacity: 2× 8 TB.
Fulfilment: Assembled and burned-in for 24 hours before ship. Shipping within India; international enquire. Warranty: 90 days on board and PSU; software image updates for 12 months.
