The problem
Two applications both claim to be current. Staff retype the record, and a change in one never reaches the other.
System and API integration
When two systems both claim to be current, we connect one flow at a time and leave the rest in place. A rewrite is not the integration.
A change in Orders is sent to Accounts. If it fails, a person is told. No live order is created.
Illustrative. The real payload is agreed from the systems you already run.
The first conversation is the record that has to exist in two places, not a new platform.
Two applications both claim to be current. Staff retype the record, and a change in one never reaches the other.
The wrong total, the missed status, and the person who copies between screens. Both systems still load.
One flow keeps those fields together. You can see the payload, the failure path, and who is told when a sync stops.
Three parts. The other applications stay where they are.
The two applications you already run, including an ERP, a shop, mail, or a product we host. We do not replace them to connect them.
The fields that must match, the direction, and what happens when the other side rejects the record. Other flows wait.
A log and a person who is told when the sync stops. That care is a separate agreement. A rewrite stays on application modernisation.
You can open the connection before it is left running.
Related work you can open. Measured client results are shared only with permission.
An API can change shape, and a sync can stop while both screens still load. Care means a named owner and a way to see the failed item. We do not promise uptime.
We reply with the one flow we would connect first, what we would leave in place, and who would be told when it stops.
